6 Characters in search of an Author is on at the Gielgud Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue at the moment. I walked past on Sunday in between coffee at Cafe Nero and Dim Sum. It’s an odd name for a play isn’t – six characters in search of an author, I mean how did the play get written without one?
